By downloading, installing, or using QR Code Studio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
QR Code Studio enables users to:
- Generate QR codes and barcodes in 10+ formats
- Scan QR codes and barcodes using the device camera
- Save, organize, search, and manage generated and scanned codes
- Customize QR code appearance (colors, logos, sizes, error correction)
- Batch generate up to 100 codes at once (Pro)
- Export and share codes as images
The App is available in a free tier with limited features and a paid Pro plan with full access.
Free tier limits:
- Up to 50 saved codes in history
- Up to 10 scans per day
- QR code generation only (no 2D barcode formats)
- Banner advertisements shown
3.1 Pro Plans
QR Code Studio Pro is available as:
- Monthly subscription: $2.99/month
- Yearly subscription: $14.99/year
- Lifetime purchase: $29.99 (one-time, non-consumable)
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
3.2 Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
3.4 Lifetime Purchase
The lifetime plan is a non-consumable one-time purchase that grants permanent Pro access. It is non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
3.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. Apple will notify you of price changes before renewal.
3.6 Free Trial
If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.
You agree not to use the App to:
- Generate codes containing illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
- Create codes that infringe on intellectual property rights
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or deceptive content via generated codes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Circumvent subscription requirements or security measures
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
5.1 App Ownership
The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by QR Code Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.
5.2 Your Content
You retain full ownership of all QR codes and barcodes you create. We do not claim any rights to your generated content. All content is stored locally on your device.
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Free-tier users see banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Pro subscribers enjoy a completely ad-free experience.
8.1 "As Is" Service
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8.2 QR Code Accuracy
We do not guarantee that all generated codes will be readable by all scanners or devices. Readability depends on code quality, camera capabilities, lighting, and other factors.
8.3 Scanned Content
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or safety of data encoded in codes scanned by the App. Exercise caution when opening URLs from scanned codes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR Code Studio and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QR Code Studio and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App developer is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
